2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Convertible

• Some cars are for everyone. This one isn't — and that's exactly what makes it right.

The PT Cruiser GT Convertible is a rare thing: a turbocharged, manual-shifted, open-top American oddity that was never made in great numbers and is even harder to find in honest condition today. At 97,000 miles, this one presents beautifully — clean inside, clean out, and mechanically sound. It doesn't drive like a car that's been through it. It drives like a car that's been looked after.

"If you know what you're looking at, you already know. If you don't — this probably isn't your car, and that's fine."

The GT trim means the turbocharged 2.4L — 220 horsepower versus the base engine's 150. It's a genuinely different driving experience. Add the five-speed manual and the open top, and you have something that rewards the person behind the wheel rather than simply transporting them.
The interior is clean and well kept. The trunk is surprisingly roomy for a convertible — practical in a way this car's personality might not suggest. Everything works the way it should.

  Engine — 2.4L Turbocharged · GT trim · 220hp
Transmission — 5-speed manual · increasingly rare in this model

Mileage — 97,000 · presents well for age

Condition — Clean inside and out · mechanically sound throughout

This is a car with a point of view. It has always been. The right buyer will feel it immediately — come see if that's you.
